What’s next after IPL season 8?
Season of Cricket continues to rule the heart and soul of
every Indian Fan. Just like how European countries are crazy for Football and
Tennis, Indians are super aficionado of Cricket. I need not narrate the long history
of Cricket which begins with the entry of British in India and the spread of
Cricket which drew first the Parsi community of Mumbai towards it followed by launch
of the Ranji Trophy being played (1935) and so on!
Currently the season of Cricket is back in our neighborhood nation of Pakistan! That’s big and great news for all the Pakistani Cricket
fans who are similarly die-hard people waiting badly to watch their favourite
batsmen play Cricket! After a cricket drought of six long years, the rain of
cricket is going to breed some fresh new grass on the Pakistani soil. This time
it is the team Zimbabwe who has shown the courage to play versus Pakistan. Zimbabwe
will play the first T-20 today (22 MAY) at the famous Gaddafi stadium in
Lahore!

There in England t Lord’s the first Test is being played
versus New Zealand. Matt Henry is the newly introduced bowler from New Zealand’s
side. We all have seen the power seem bowling of Tim Southee and how he had
demolished the same England (7/33) in one of the matches of Cricket World Cup
2015. The current ICC ranking of New Zealand is at no. 3 spot which puts a
slight pressure on the England team (Rank 5). Till the end of Day 1 England
with the help of Ben Stokes (92) and Joe Root (98) managed to survive after
being 30/4. Till the stumps went off England was 354 for the loss of 7 wickets.

India will take on Bangladesh in the month of June. As stated
by the BCCI (Board of Cricket Control in India) Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be
the ODI Captain and Virat Kohli will be the Test Captain. India will play the
first and only Test v/s Bangladesh on 10 June 2015. The ODIs will begin from 18
June. It will be interesting to see how this two great people display their
captaincy against a not anymore a minnow side of Bangladesh.

countries were snapped after the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008 until the series
in 2012-13, although India and Pakistan have played each other in the World
Cup, Champions Trophy, Asia Cup and the World T20.”
